Why don't Trankov and Volosozhar appear? Maxim Trankov and Tatyana Volosozhar: “We’ll send our daughter to the most ordinary kindergarten. Achievements of Tatyana Volosozhar

The name of the famous figure skater Tatyana Andreevna Volosozhar is known to all Russian figure skating fans. Honored Master of Sports of Russia, two-time Olympic champion 2014, four-time European champion and three-time Russian champion - all these titles and regalia were given to the former Ukrainian Tatiana Volosozhar with hard work.

She managed to overcome all the obstacles, and now many fans call her the mistress of the ice: the skater feels as confident on a slippery surface as a real housewife in her kitchen.

Childhood and youth

The work of overcoming began for the athlete from an early age. Tatyana Volosozhar was born in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine in May 1986. Her mom and dad are Russian. Mom was born in Kaliningrad, and father in Nizhny Tagil. Military service often abandoned him throughout the Soviet Union, but the young family stopped in Dnepropetrovsk, where two children were born - daughters Olga and Tatyana.

The head of the family, accustomed to strict military discipline and healthy image life, I wanted my daughters to always be in good physical fitness and got involved in sports. So one fine day the sisters went to the skating rink. But only the youngest, 4-year-old Tanya, wanted to stay in the figure skating section. The eldest daughter did not like moving on a slippery surface on slippery skates.

But they didn’t want to take Tanya, despite her desire. The girl was plump and did not fit the parameters required in sports. But Volosozhar wanted to stay so much that the coach’s heart trembled. Pyshechka was assigned to a subscription group and set a condition: if she tries hard, then in a month she will be accepted into the section.

The little girl gave her all so much that she left no choice for the mentors - they took her. So it began sports biography Tatiana Volosozhar. Her first coach was Lyudmila Petrovskaya.

3 years later, Tatyana Volosozhar, a 7-year-old figure skater, won her first victory, winning the competition in single skating.

Figure skating

The success of the hardworking and talented athlete was noticed by coach Vyacheslav Tkachenko. He invited Tatyana Volosozhar to join him and take up pair skating. Moreover, the height (159 cm) and weight (45 kg) of the athletes were conducive to working in pairs. She immediately agreed.

Her first partner was Peter Kharchenko. Later, the coaching baton passed to another mentor, Galina Kukhar. Under her leadership, the couple managed to become champions of Ukraine in 2004. A little later - winners of the junior stages of the Grand Prix. But at the adult level, victories did not work out, and the Volosozhar-Kharchenko couple broke up.

Stanislav Morozov became the skater’s new partner in 2004. And success was not long in coming. Twice Tatyana Volosozhar and her new partner became prize-winners Winter Universiade and three times - national champions. They visited the Olympics in Turin, where they took 12th place. Galina Kukhar trained figure skaters in Kyiv. The program was directed by Nikolai Morozov.

Soon Tatyana Volosozhar realized that there was no further development, it seemed to have frozen at some point. She decides to continue her studies under the guidance of an experienced German coach Ingo Steuer. The mentor became famous for training a whole galaxy of athletes of different nationalities.

Since 2008, Tatyana Volosozhar and Stanislav Morozov have been living and training in Germany. Already in 2009, skaters won 2 medals at the Grand Prix. In the final they took 4th position. Everyone who closely watched the couple noted clear progress: the athletes’ movements became clear, but at the same time surprisingly flexible. Their skills have grown, although the program has become significantly more complex.

At the World Championships, Tatyana Volosozhar and her partner managed to take 6th place. And at the Olympics in Vancouver they came 8th. After the Games, Stas decided to go into coaching. But Tanya wanted to continue. The figure skater felt that her potential was not exhausted and she could achieve significantly best results.

Morozov offered Tatyana Volosozhar a new partner. He was just looking for a partner. Stanislav Morozov himself undertook to train the new couple. But for further training I had to leave Ukraine and move to Moscow. In 2010, Tatyana Volosozhar received Russian citizenship.

In Moscow, the skaters were trained not only by Stanislav, but also by Nikolai Morozov, who returned from America. He worked on staging new skater programs.

The new pair made their debut at the 2010 Russian Cup in Perm. The boys won the cup. In 2011 - a new resounding victory: Volosozhar and Trankov, in conditions of severe competition, won both programs of the Russian Championship.

The skaters missed the European Championships, which took place in January of the same year, due to a year-long “quarantine”. Indeed, according to the rules of the International Skating Union, those athletes who transferred to the national team of another country did not have the right to represent the interests of the chosen country for a year.

But after the end of the “quarantine”, Tatyana Volosozhar and her partner had the opportunity to participate in the Mont Blanc Trophy tournament, which was held in Courmayeur, Italy. They became leaders in 2 types of programs.

Further career athletes developed even more rapidly. Mentor Lyudmila Velikova predicted a brilliant future for the guys, calling them an invincible couple.

Victories followed one after another, but there were also unfortunate falls that were associated with injuries. The guys had to miss the next season. They recovered their health in a New York special clinic. But Tatyana Volosozhar and her partner still won gold medals at the European Championships.

In the spring of 2013, the guys, like all fans of Russian figure skating, were in for a real triumph: they became world champions. Before this, Russian couples had not managed to win gold for 8 years.

Maxim Trankov and Tatiana Volosozhar in Sochi

But the main victories were ahead. Tatyana Volosozhar and Makism Trankov were entrusted with representing the country at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. And the guys did not disappoint. The pair won the short program, breaking the world record: they scored 84.17 points.

And on February 12, the skaters skated free program. It was a brilliant performance set to music from the rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar. Everyone who watched the dance is convinced that the Russian couple had no equal. With a margin of 18 points, Tatyana Volosozhar and her partner became Olympic champions.

Tatyana Volosozhar with Maxim Trankov after the Olympics

After the Olympics, the skaters took a break, which lasted a year and a half. They received treatment and took to the ice at a tournament in Nebelhorn, Germany, where they again received a well-deserved award.

At the national and continental championships, Tatyana Volosozhar and Maxim Trankov won gold medals.

Personal life

Tatiana Volosozhar's first husband was her figure skating partner Stanislav Morozov. This relationship began when Tanya was a young 17-year-old girl. The couple lived in a civil marriage for several years. They had no children.

After meeting Maxim Trankov, Tatyana Volosozhar’s personal life took a new turn: the athletes not only found a common language at the skating rink, but also fell in love with each other. One day they realized that they should always stay close. Maxim proposed to Tatiana in Bali, where the athletes were vacationing in the company of friends. Together, the young people swam in the pool, and unexpectedly for Volosozhar, Trankov made a touching speech and put a ring on the girl’s finger.

In August 2015, they legalized their relationship. took place at the 02 Lounge restaurant on the roof of the Ritz-Carlton hotel. Tatyana was wearing a luxurious designer dress, which was discussed for a long time on social networks. The bridesmaids were and, and the groom was accompanied by Olympic champion and world champion Stéphane Lambiel.

In September 2016, Tatyana Volosozhar pleased her fans with good news: in her "Instagram" she announced that she was pregnant.

In February 2017, in the family of Tatiana and Maxim Angelika. Soon a photo of the newborn appeared on the parents’ microblog pages.

After the birth of her daughter, the figure skater quickly took to the ice, and her energy was enough to receive a diploma from Moscow State University. Tatyana completed her master's degree at the Department of Public Administration in the field of culture and sports.

Maxim Trankov took part in the TV show “Ice Age”, where he appeared together with. But the rumors that arose about their romance became another “duck” from the yellow media.

Now the couple is doing great. In 2016, the skaters attended the “About Love” program, the episode of which was dedicated to their relationship. A year later, Tatyana and Maxim became guests of the humorous show “ Evening Urgant", where they talked about changes in life after the end of their sports career.

Tatyana Volosozhar now

Even at the beginning of their married life, Tatyana and Maxim assumed that they would take part in Olympic Games 2018, after which it will be completed sports career. But the birth of a daughter changed the skaters’ plans. After maternity leave in the summer of 2017, Tatyana and Maxim became participants in the ice show performances “Romeo and Juliet” and “Alice in Wonderland.”

During their touring performances, the athletes realized that big sport everything has already been said.

After consulting with coaching staff Figure Skating Federation, mentor Nina Moser, Volosozhar and Trankov decided to leave figure skating earlier than planned. Influenced the decision and attitude of the International Olympic Committee To Russian athletes.

In the fall of 2018, in three cities of Russia - Moscow, Sochi and St. Petersburg - the couple presented the book “Two Sides of the Same Coin”, in which the couple talked about their life together, everyday life in sports, and raising their daughter.

According to the skaters, they plan to send Lika to the regular kindergarten, and then to a regular school, thereby protecting the girl from the influence of golden youth.

In 2018, Tatyana Volosozhar and Maxim Trankov wrote a book

Whether Angelica will follow in her parents’ footsteps will be up to her to decide. But according to Maxim’s decision, his daughter will definitely not be sent to music. As a child, the figure skater’s brother played the guitar, which Trankov remembered for a long time.

Tatyana Andreevna Volosozhar. Born on May 22, 1986 in Dnepropetrovsk. Russian, formerly Ukrainian figure skater (pair skating). Honored Master of Sports of Russia (2011), Master of Sports international class Ukraine.

Her mother is from Kaliningrad, and her father is from Nizhny Tagil. Tatyana's father is a military man, he served in Ukraine.

Parents brought four-year-old Tanya to the skating rink with her sister. My sister quickly got tired of skating, but Tanya liked it. But at first they didn’t want to take the girl into sports section, since she was plump. As a result, they only accepted me into the subscription group - with the condition that in a month, if something works out, they will enroll in the section.

Tatyana started studying seriously figure skating at the age of five with Lyudmila Viktorovna Petrovskaya. Figure skating lessons took place in Dnepropetrovsk in a specially organized special school in parallel with training in primary school. At the age of seven she won her first competition in single skating.

At the age of 14 she switched to pair skating. Together with her first partner Peter Kharchenko, she trained with Vyacheslav Tkachenko, and later with Galina Kukhar. Tatyana and Peter became champions of Ukraine in 2004 and were prize-winners at the junior stages of the Grand Prix. At the adult level, the couple did not achieve much success and broke up.

In 2004, Tatyana teamed up with Stanislav Morozov. With him they became champions of Ukraine three times, twice silver medalists Winter Universiade, participated in the Olympics in Turin (where they finished 12th). The couple trained in Kyiv with Galina Kukhar, the program director was Nikolai Morozov.

In the summer of 2008, it was announced that Volosozhar/Morozov were moving to Germany to work with coach Ingo Steuer.

In the 2008-2009 season, the couple, having become third at the Cup of Russia and second at the Cup of China, for the first time in their careers won the right to participate in the Grand Prix final, where they became fourth. After returning from Korea to the training base in Chemnitz, Germany, the couple considered it inappropriate to make another flight to Ukraine to participate in the national championship and performed “out of competition” at the German championship.

At the European Championships they again finished fourth. At the 2009 World Championships they took 6th place and provided Ukraine with two tickets to the 2010 Winter Olympics in pair skating.

IN Olympic season the couple became champions of Ukraine for the fourth time, and took fourth place at the European Championships for the third time in a row. At the Olympic Games we were 8th, and this was the last start in Stanislav’s career.

After completing her partner’s sports career, Tatyana teamed up with Maxim Trankov. The couple decided to perform under the Russian flag.

In the fall of 2010, Volosozhar began the procedure for obtaining Russian citizenship. She joined the Voluntary Resettlement Program Russian Federation compatriots living abroad,” the participants of which can be citizens of the former Soviet Union, as well as their direct descendants who want to work and live in Russia. In December 2010, I received a Russian passport.

Nina Moser became the duo's coach, whom Stanislav Morozov began to help, and Nikolai Morozov, who returned from the USA, helped in staging new programs. Both Tatyana and Maxim had to relearn the technique of performing many elements and adapt to each other.

The couple's official debut in Russian competitions took place in October 2010 at the third stage of the Russian Cup in Perm, which they won. In conditions of serious competition, the couple won the 2011 Russian Championship, leading in both programs.

According to the rules of the International Skating Union, athletes who transfer to the national team of another country must serve a one-year “quarantine”. Since Tatyana’s last start for Ukraine was the 2010 Olympics, the new couple could not enter the international arena until February 16, 2011, and they missed the European Championship.

To participate in the 2011 World Championships, Tatyana and Maxim, as a new couple, had to score a minimum technical result (in pairs it is 17 points in the short program and 30 points in the free program). To achieve this goal, the couple took part in the Mont Blanc Trophy tournament in February 2011 (held in Courmayeur, Italy), immediately after the end of the “quarantine”. Tatyana and Maxim not only easily scored the required amount of points, but also became the undisputed leaders of the tournament, winning both types of programs.

The 2011 World Figure Skating Championships were initially scheduled to take place in Tokyo. Tatyana and Maxim flew to Japan in advance to acclimatize and conduct several training sessions. The couple arrived in Tokyo hours before the March 11, 2011 earthquake. Contact with the skaters was lost. A little later it turned out that, fortunately, they were not injured. The skaters and coaches spent some time at a training camp in Fukuoka, quite far from the epicenter of the earthquake, but due to the increasing danger and the unclear fate of the championship, it was decided to evacuate the entire team home to Russia.

As a result, the 2011 World Championships took place in Moscow. It became the first major joint international competition for Tatyana and Maxim, but they were immediately able to climb to the podium, taking 2nd place.

The 2011-2012 season started off difficult for the couple. Maxim was plagued by injuries. First, having fallen unsuccessfully in training during the summer preparation for the season, he received a shoulder injury, and in the fall his groin injury worsened. However, the couple was able to win two international tournament the so-called category B (Nebelhorn Trophy 2011 and Ondrej Nepela Memorial 2011) and both of its Grand Prix series (Skate Canada International 2011 and Trophée Eric Bompard 2011). Moreover, when the stages were distributed in the off-season, Tatyana and Maxim had the opportunity to take a third additional stage, but they limited themselves to two, considering that this would be enough to get to the finals.

Despite the lack of optimal shape due to the constant struggle with injuries, the couple easily reached the Grand Prix Final, taking first place in the ranking after completing all stages. In the Grand Prix Final, leading after the short program, the couple made several minor mistakes in the free program and eventually took 2nd place, losing a total of only 0.18 points to their main competitors Savchenko-Szolkowy.

As it turned out, not only Maxim competed with an injury in the Grand Prix final, but also Tatyana (thigh muscle injury). The couple decided to skip the Russian Championship in order to recover in time for the main starts of the season. At the same time, they were guaranteed a place in the Russian national team, despite missing the national championship. Both Tatyana and Maxim underwent treatment at a New York clinic, one of the few in the world specializing in the treatment of such sports injuries.

Tatyana and Maxim, leading in both programs, confidently won their first joint European Championship, although, according to them, the victory would have brought them much more pleasure if their main competitors Savchenko-Sholkov had not withdrawn from the tournament due to an injury to their partner. Tatyana and Maxim said that after the removal of the German couple, they to some extent lost motivation. In addition, Tatyana has not yet fully healed her injury. Because of these reasons, athletes did not strive to show their maximum at this tournament.

December 18, 2013 Federation sports journalists Russia awarded both the “Silver Doe” as best athletes year.

In 2014, at the Winter Olympics, Tatyana and Maxim became champions in team competitions; in particular, for the short program they scored 83.79 points (beating their closest rivals by almost 10 points) and bringing the team 10 points. On February 11, 2014, the couple already won the short program in individual competitions, breaking their own world record by 0.19 points in total points. Olympic champions of Sochi 2014 in pair skating. On February 12, 2014, the couple won the gold medal. Olympic medal in the individual competition.

After this, the athletes took a break for a year and a half. Maxim was undergoing treatment. The couple appeared again in Germany at the Nebelhorn tournament, where they became winners. Next, the couple performed at the Trophée Bompard Grand Prix stage, however, after short programs(where the skaters were in the lead), the competition was canceled due to security reasons (a series of terrorist attacks occurred in the French capital).

The couple withdrew from the next stage due to Tatyana’s injury. At the national championships, the skaters confidently won gold medals. In Bratislava, at the continental championship, the couple confidently won gold medals. At the world championships in Boston in early April, the Russian couple managed to take only sixth place.

Then the couple took a break from performing due to the wedding and Tatyana’s pregnancy.

Famous Russian figure skater, Honored Master of Sports. Two-time Olympic champion (Sochi, 2014), three-time European champion, two-time Russian champion. Paired with Tatyana Volosozhar, he brought numerous victories to his country.

Maxim Trankov. Biography and sports career

Maxim Leonidovich Trankov born on October 7, 1983 in Perm in absolute sports family. His father Leonid Trankov- the first equestrian master in the Urals, and his mother Valentina Trankova- trainer athletics, later a preschool teacher. Maxim is not their only son - his older brother is called Alexey.

Like many famous skaters, Maxim Trankov began his sports career at the age of four. His parents took him to the figure skating section. Being athletes themselves, they dreamed of the same life path for their sons. Maxim, however, did not share this desire. For four years, he obediently went to training, but did not experience any joy or satisfaction from them. It is not surprising that as soon as the opportunity to quit a boring job arose, Maxim took advantage of it, and from the age of 8 to 9 he “rested” from sports for a whole year.

But at the age of 9 he went to the skating rink again. This time to other trainers. From now on Maxima Trankova started training for couples dance. And he himself gradually realized that he could no longer imagine himself without figure skating.

Honored Trainer of Russia Lyudmila Smirnova: “He was very choreographic, flexible - and a creative person. Even at this age. This was already evident in him. This man has the most good qualities- fighting qualities of a person who achieves his goal, wants to achieve his goal, this is willpower. This is the most important thing - what should be present in sports.”

Maxim's first partner was Alesya Korchagina, after a couple of years she was replaced Ksenia Vasilyeva, then - Irina Bogomolova, Irina Ulanova And Natalia Shestakova. At the age of 20, Trankov began skating with Maria Mukhortova. This partnership lasted longer than others - over the course of 7 years, Trankov and Mukhortova won many victories. But in 2010, Maxim announced the severance of the partnership due to a complete lack of mutual understanding between him and Maria.

His new partner since 2010 was Tatyana Volosozhar. And, as it turned out, it was the right decision. Tatyana and Maxim not only started skating together, they actually managed to climb very high level understanding each other, anticipating actions and the ability to work synchronously. In addition, a deep human attachment arose between the athletes, which could not but become the basis for high-quality performances.

Maxim Trankov: “We are like a single whole. It was surprising to me, and it was surprising to her. With Tatyana, I understood what it means to be one with someone, to breathe the same way, in the same rhythm.”

Together with Tatyana, Maxim became the winner of gold medals at such major competitions, like the Russian Championship, the European Championship and the World Championship. But the couple's most important achievement was double victory at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.

Maxim Trankov: “These were not the easiest days, because we understood that we had no right to make a mistake. Everyone expected a gold medal from Tanya and me. And we are very glad that we managed to live up to expectations. Our first people came down to see us immediately after the award ceremony. Olympic champions V figure skating- Lyudmila Belousova and Oleg Protopopov. They won exactly 50 years ago. It’s great that after so many years the Russian school continues to win.”

With an interval of less than a week, Trankov and Volosozhar won gold, first in the team performance, and then in the individual program. According to Maxim, everything he does, he does not for the sake of “gold”, but for the sake of his partner - so that she feels happy.

“Maxim Trankov: I have only one partner - Tatyana Volosozhar. I will not skate with actresses, singers, or ballet stars. No amount of money will make me change it.”

In 2016, the couple made a statement that she was going to miss the upcoming sports season, including the Russian Championships and the World Figure Skating Championships, but by the 2018 Winter Olympics, the two-time winners of the Sochi Games planned to resume training and return to the ice.

Maxim Trankov. Life outside of big sport

On October 1, 2016, after a two-year break, the show “Ice Age” returned to Channel One, the launch of which, as figure skater Tatyana Navka admitted in an interview, had to be postponed due to the ice project “ Carmen"(directed by Ilya Averbukh with the participation of Navka, Alexey Yagudin, Roman Kostomarov, Maxim Marinin and others). In the next season of the large-scale show it was announced and Maxim Trankov. Singer Yulianna Karaulova became his mentee and partner within the framework of the ice project.

Yulianna about Trankov and Volosozhar: At first I felt some awkwardness, I was embarrassed that I wasn’t skating well, but gradually I began to relax. Maxim and I started getting to know each other, joking, and having fun. Maxim’s wife, Tanechka Volosozhar, helped me a lot. She's nice, kind, just amazing. Although she is pregnant, she came to us several times. I watched our first program when we tested it in training. She advised me on how to do better supports. I am grateful to her.

Maxim Trankov. Personal life

August 18, 2015 Maxim Trankov and Tatyana Volosozhar officially became spouses, and in September 2016, the Olympic champions announced that there would be an addition to their family. It is curious that Volosozhar noticed the “interesting situation” on Maxim, and not Tatyana herself, but a figure skater from Switzerland, who was in Japan in the summer of 2016, where the ice show was then taking place.

Trankov: In the summer we were in Japan, took part in an ice show. In the locker room, our friend, Swiss figure skater Stephane Lambiel, came up to me and said: “Maxim, is Tanya pregnant?” I was surprised: “Are you laughing?” But he stood his ground: “Yes, I’m definitely pregnant! I see how she skates and performs - not at all like usual.” It turned out that he knew something that Tanya and I did not yet know.

Volosozhar admitted that she felt some changes in her body, but since she was experiencing this for the first time, she doubted it. I was convinced of my pregnancy after I took a test, and then went to the doctor and heard the exact date.

Tatiana Volosozhar's childhood

Tatyana Volosozhar’s father is a military man who was sent with his family to Dnepropetrovsk. Tanya was born there. Parents wanted Tanya and her sister to play sports. Dnepropetrovsk – big city, in which there was an opportunity to take the children to the skating rink.

So Tanya and her sister started figure skating. My sister soon flatly refused to study, but Tanya wanted to continue. She was only four years old then. But the girl’s desire alone was not enough; according to the coach, she had overweight, so Tatyana continued her classes in the subscription group. So that the young athlete would have a goal, Tanya was promised to transfer her to the section if she saw results in a month of classes. She succeeded, and at the age of five she began to study seriously. Her first coach was Lyudmila Petrovskaya.

In elementary school, Tanya studied in parallel with figure skating classes. It was a specialized school. Thanks to the girl’s hard work and desire to achieve good results, already at the age of seven she became the winner in single skating. This was her first competition.

Figure skater Tatyana Volosozhar in professional sports

This victory made it clear that a promising figure skater was growing. When she was 14 years old, she received an offer to try her hand at pair skating with Peter Kharchenko. Tanya agreed and took up pair skating. Vyacheslav Tkachenko became her mentor.

The pair worked together quite quickly and showed excellent results. In 2004, when Tatyana was only 18 years old, their couple became the first in Ukraine. Many figure skating authorities, watching the performances of the young couple at the Grand Prix stages, where they climbed the steps of the podium, expressed the opinion that the partner was clearly stronger.

After these competitions, new coach Galina Kukhar decided to give Tanya the opportunity to work with another partner, namely Stanislav Morozov. Stas was reliable, Volosozhar felt comfortable with him, and most importantly, it was not scary to ride at all. This pair won the Ukrainian Championship four times, twice they brought home silver from the World Winter Universiade.

They took twelfth place (Turin Olympics) and fourth place (2007 World Championships). At this time, Nikolai Morozov appeared in the life and work of the couple, who became the director of their programs, choreographer and co-author.

Volosozhar and Trankov showed a new program

Tanya, being a purposeful person, wanted to conquer new heights in sports. In 2008, she decided to go to Germany and continue her studies with Ingo Steuer. This famous coach was a mentor to an entire “international” family of athletes. Tanya joined them. A year later, Stas and Tanya received two medals in the Grand Prix competitions, as a result, they came fourth in the finals. In addition, the couple performed well at the World Championships, finishing sixth.

While training in Germany, the guys gained stability in their skating, their movements became more refined, and the complexity of the programs they performed increased noticeably. After they finished only eighth at the Vancouver Olympics, Stanislav went into coaching.

So Tanya was unexpectedly left without a partner. Of course, there were offers, because she was an honored figure skater. But Stanislav Morozov took care of a new partner for Tatyana. He offered to create a couple with Volosozhar Trankov, who was just looking for a partner. Both Trankov and Volosozhar gave their consent. This is how a new Russian duet was formed. Tanya became a Russian citizen in 2010. The new couple began to be trained by Stanislav Morozov, Nina Moser and Nikolai Morozov.

Maxim Trankov and Tatyana Volosozhar were allowed to compete for two regions at once

After the guys’ first performances, Lyudmila Velikova predicted that they would become an amazing and invincible couple. The 2010\2011 season brought victory after victory. The couple worked harmoniously, without conflicts among themselves. In addition, each of them was a professional with good riding experience behind them.

Unfortunately, the following season Tatyana and Maxim were plagued by injuries, which forced them to undergo treatment in New York, in a special clinic. However, they deserved gold medals at the European Championships. The world championship remained unconquered, but everything was ahead. Already in April 2013, the guys became world champions. They had been waiting for this event for eight years, since Russian couples had not won world gold for eight years.

Personal life of Tatyana Volosozhar

Tatyana Volosozhar now lives in Moscow with her common-law husband Stanislav Morozov. They live in a house located on Volgogradsky Prospekt, within walking distance from the skating rink. Stanislav does not drive, so this is very convenient. Interestingly, Maxim and his girlfriend Sasha also live in this house. It turns out that Tanya and Maxim are nearby almost all the time.

When asked whether the fact that one of the trainers is Tanya’s common-law husband does not interfere with the couple’s work, she replied that this does not interfere with their work. After all, he works with Maxim and Tanya the whole team trainers. If any misunderstanding or conflict arises, it is usually extinguished by Nina Mikhailovna Moser, who is the head coach. There is no bias towards Maxim on Stanislav’s part.

In her free time, Tanya goes to gym, walks with his beloved dog, visits the pool.

In February of this year, the two-time Olympic champions in figure skating became parents. “Antenna” was the first to visit Tatyana and Maxim and met Angelica.

We moved into this house in 2015. They settled in gradually. First we did all the most basic things necessary for life. And then they added to it, for example, they built a library and an attic.

Tatiana Volosozhar and Maxim Trankov with their daughter Anzhelika

Having won all the competitions in 2013, and then the Olympics in Sochi, Tatyana and I saved up a certain budget and began to think about what would be better to invest in. A crisis then began in the country. There was a risk that the money might go missing. Friends advised me to buy real estate. I have always dreamed of living in a house. I don't like it big cities. I feel more comfortable when I open the window in the morning and the birds are singing around me. We weren’t in Russia much then and performed at ice shows all over the world. So the village wasn’t even particularly chosen. We just walked into this house and immediately liked it. Although there were no repairs here, and in some places there were no walls. Tanya and I did everything from scratch without the help of a designer. There were no discussions. In principle, we argue little. We like the same things. I painted the walls myself, designed the living room. We have a very economical option. There are no Spanish tiles, natural stone or other expensive things. Everything is on a budget. We understood that we would have a child and made two children's rooms. We decided to just paint the walls in them. I remembered when I was little, how I loved to paint wallpaper, tear it off, and thought: we need walls on which we can draw and stick stickers, and then repaint it all.

We get up at five in the morning and manage to do everything

I'm used to going to bed and waking up late. But with Likusha (daughter Anzhelika was born on February 16, 2017 - Antenna’s note) everything changed. I have become a morning person and now fall asleep much earlier. I spent the first month and a half after giving birth at home. Thanks to my mom for allowing me to go to the store for 15 minutes. It's easier now. Lika and I understand each other. She has a nap during the day, and during these one and a half to two hours I am free.

I prepared myself that the child would appear and Tanya would have to help. I jumped up with her for a couple of nights, tried to do something, but in the end I realized that dad was not needed here. I'm just getting in the way. So after a week I stopped getting up. Tanya completely took care of her daughter at night. Now for both of us, starting the day at five in the morning is nonsense. There is even a plus in the fact that Lika is a morning person. Because when you don’t have constant training, you can lie down, read a book, be lazy. And then I got up early and did a bunch of things, and it was only ten in the morning!

I work with Lika, we have educational toys and special rugs. Pediatricians praise her, saying that the girl is observant and interested in everything. She loves company. Maxim and I took her out into public several times. I think that Lika will not be an introverted child. She is already showing character. Maxim jokingly says that Likusha is making ropes out of us. Maybe in some ways this is true. For example, he starts crying, after a minute he opens his eyes, looks at us with a sly smile, closes his eyes and starts crying again.

She is already slowly understanding how to manipulate us. When Likusya was very tiny, I was good at rocking her to sleep. I held her in my arms, performed lullabies from the category - what I see, what I sing. And lately Tanya has been styling her. She feeds her, and Lika falls asleep.

The main jealous person is the pet

We have our own ritual in the evening: Max makes some warm water, we give our daughter a bath, he kisses her on the cheek, and I’m left alone with her.

And an hour later Tanya comes down to see me. In fact, if Lika is not in pain, then she is very calm. There are children who, as soon as they wake up, cry all day. From the first days it was like this for us: I wanted to eat - I whimpered, they gave me something to eat - I calmed down. She is patient, she probably gets this from Tanya, as well as her persistence. I had a dream that my daughter would take my eyes and her mother’s character. And so it happened. I am a complex person, and Tanya is patient and calm. And if Likushi had my character...

I would have to look for a husband who looked like my mother. By the way, when Lika appeared, my dog Dexter became very jealous of her. As soon as I picked my daughter up to feed her, he immediately jumped on me and licked me. I didn’t understand what kind of betrayal this was. Has she really adopted another animal?

Dexter has always been friendly towards Lika. He just didn't like that he wasn't number one anymore. And now if Tanya takes care of Lika, then Dexter comes straight to me. Previously, he perceived me more as a master, he was a little afraid, he obeyed me. This is Tanya’s dog, which she had before our relationship. That's why he treated me with jealousy. Now, when Tanya takes Lika, Dexter is already sitting in my arms. He licks it and looks at Tanya’s reaction, like I’m cheating on you here with your man. He and I have something in common. At first, when Angelica cried, I ran out of the room in a panic, because I couldn’t watch her scream, and I couldn’t do anything about it. Dexter, as soon as she squeaks, immediately hides under the bed.

Grandmothers and gadgets help

Now so many things have been invented for children, all you have to do is give birth. It turns out that grandmothers are our mothers, and in some ways they even learn from us. They ask, for example, how to use new technology that makes life easier.

And they are constantly delighted that there are all sorts of fashionable gadgets. There is no need to boil anything, there are devices that disinfect with steam, even special diaper recyclers. I love our car seat, it fits in a backpack and turns into a stroller. I’ve seen how friends constantly put a full trunk of strollers, but here you have everything in one.

We have a cradle that rocks itself, I call it hands-free for mom. Mom's hands are free. The baby monitor was installed. After all, living in the house, when my daughter has already fallen asleep, I want to go downstairs, spend time in the kitchen, and talk with my husband. And with the help of such a nanny, you can hear the slightest rustle on the other floor.

It even has night vision function.

We haven't thought about a real nanny yet. I cannot entrust a child to someone in one or two days of meeting someone. You need to take a closer look at the person. Now grandmothers are saving. And in the future we will come to them for advice on how to raise our daughter. Because both of our mothers are teachers by training and worked with preschool children.

In the first months, we couldn’t leave Lika even to go to training. They took my mom or Tanya’s dad with them, and they went to the skating rink with a stroller. Anything, and Tanya immediately jumped out of the ice to her daughter. When Lika grew up, we began to leave her at home with her grandmother. But no more than two or three hours. In four months we went to the cinema once and once to a social function. We give up a lot to be close to our child. But the athlete after professional life you need to remind yourself. Therefore, in the future, a nanny will probably still be needed.
